Now we have a week off, is a good opportunity for me to watch all those movies that I pointed to my list and that I could not see for lack of time.

One of the best films I have ever seen is called If only. It’s set in London and it’s about a hard-working businessman and a violinist woman.

The man is too busy to take care his love. He thinks work is more important than his girlfriend. On the concert of her graduation he meets a taxi driver and talks with him about their love. He realises something but it’s too late because his girlfriend dies by a car accident. He regrets everything, but surprisingly there is a great chance of living with her again. Finally he can appreciate her, but sadly he has to die instead of his girlfriend.

I have seen it 5 times. Until I saw it 3-4 times it was just love story with strange situation, but last time, I could feel character’s feelings. So it was a really romantic film. The plot and the song of the actress was fantastic. Maybe the story could be a little artificial. But if you focus on chacarcter’s feelings you can be given a good advice: Don’t calculate your love, just appreciate her!

I recommend this film to all those who fall in love or like romance. They will love it, I’m sure.

SHOPPING

I'm sure this christmas holidays have been the time of the year when more shopping have been done. So, I thought it could be interesting to talk about advantages and disadvantages of this activity practiced all over the world.

I believe that shopping can be one of the important things people do, like eating and sleeping, and for some shopping is their chance to do their favourite things like walking and meeting friends.

On the other hand I think that is true that shopping has no value in some lifestyles. People think of shopping only as a chance to do whatever they want, and then it is an escape from doing things they should do. I mean people go shopping instead of do work.

However, others think of it as a chance to meet some friends who you only see from time to time. In addition, it is useful time to discuss every day problems -for example, in that shopping time you might listen to others problems and think that yours are nothing compared to theirs. It can make a break from every day work pressure and so it is valuable for some who have a hard job and lifestyle.

In conclusion, it's true that buying things has little value, but people are different, which means that shopping will be priceless for some.

2011 HERE WE GO!

Today I've decided to start with some recent news from Amy Winehouse. I'm afraid that most of pople who will read this hate her, but as a fan I thought it would be interesting to talk about her return after hard rehab:

Despite his long absence from the stage, Amy Winehouse continues to arouse passions. The girl is a trophy and some people would give anything to see her perform again. One million pounds, for example. That's exactly what a mysterious Russian businessman paid for a private two hours show of the British singer in Moscow last weekend. It was the first full concert Winehouse and her band in the past two years, which has been withdrawn, struggling with his turbulent love life, alcohol and drugs, they put her on edge.

LOOK HEALTHIER / If things go wrong, the 2011 is the year of return through the front door of Winehouse. Very recovered physically, looking healthier after a recent stay in Barbados, in the coming weeks she will perform in a tour of six concerts in Brazil. They will spend the Christmas and New Year, and enjoy passing summer temperatures and warm beaches that are so fond. Amy is also recording their third album, as expected after the success of Back to Black, in 2006 the propelled to fame. The new album, with a style different from above, it is cooking too slowly and has no release date yet.With voice and style, in October launched its new collection for Fred Perry clothing brand, for which he has created a range of garments.

Now it's time to talk about christmas, for me the best time of the year and also the moment when we realize how fast the year has gone by.
Probably what I would first point out from this 2010 is the arrival at Sant Miquel after lots of years studying in the same school and with the same classmates. However, I am quite happy to be here now and also to have had the opportunity to meet really nice people.
I'm quite grateful to have all this people next to me, and I tell them now because although it seems as if we have plenty of time to spend together, in six months everyone in class will have decided what to do the following years, which in most cases means taking separate ways.

Nevertheless I don't think it's the best time to feel sad when thinking all of this. It will be better to talk about experiences lived during this year and which I will never forget, as for example parachuting.
I swear this is the best thing I have done in 2010 and I think that reliving the feeling of flying through the clouds is a good way of finishing the year and to start 2011, which I wish everyone in class to be a good year and with luck for our new lives.

Drink 'Till She's Cute

A man stopped at his favorite watering hole after a hard days work to relax. He noticed a man next to him ordered a shot and a beer. The man drank the shot, chased it with the beer and then looked into his shirt pocket. This continued several times before the man's curiosity got the best of him. He leaned over to the guy and said, "Excuse me, I couldn't help but notice your little ritual, why in the world do you look into your shirt pocket every time you drink your shot & beer"? The man replied, "There's a picture of my wife in there, and when she starts lookin' good, I'm headin' home"!

I think it's a good short story. However, I really don't understand why this kind of jokes are only “good” if they are sexist, as I really couldn’t find one where the women figure was protected.

First I was thinking to talk about “TR” now that is being finished, but it really haven't let me any energies left. So I must better choose a subject which motivates me and gives me energies back:

Christmas is coming and it really suits me to talk about it, as all memories I have from it are pleasent.

Every year christmas comes, towns and big cites have amazing decorations in streets and in some shops. Althought this days are quite cold, I love walking down the streets to smeell this lovely smell of magic that christmas brings.

During this little holidays of five days, I have just started decorating the christmas tree and doing the crib, and, althought some of the hope and illusion that I had as a child when I ignored that the three kings didn't exist went away, I still feel happy to spend christmas holidays next to my family and friends.

Maybe another reason of why I love this year time so much, it's because of my birthday, as I think I have suffered enough having to put up during the year while other people celebrated the 17^th birthday.

THAT'S IT, THAT'S ALL

Hello everybody and welcome to my blog.

I just wanted to have a good beggining in this blog, so I thought that a dedication to a friend could be a good way to start. I don't know why, but all this months I have been feeling the necessity to tell how grateful I am to have someone like her next to me. So here we go.

This text goes for the girl who I met last year in this school and who is actually an essential part of my life.

I have to recognize that her first impression wasn't so good to me, as she knows, so I could never had imagined that everyday she would take an smile from my face, even make me laught until cry. And not only this; what I value most is that she is ALWAYS there. 

I'm not sure why I'm talking about all of this, maybe I just want to let her know that anyone in this world could replace her.

As I believe she knows the rest and other people are starting to feel bored, I'd better talk about what I have been doing this saturday.

It really hasn't been an special day, maybe I can point out that I have been to the cinema to see Harry Potter, and althought there are quite lots of details I just lost from other films, I felt the necessity to watch all of the films. I have to agree with my dear friend Magalí, who had already told me that it would entertain me.
